Harbour View Gallery is a small Co-operative Gallery owned by me and four partners, where we feature 30 local artists. Currently, our Managing Members (MM's) and Associate Members (AM's) work in the gallery and keep it running smoothly. Our commission artists (EVA's) are equally talented, they just don't work in the gallery and have a little less space for showing artwork. The last category of artists is our Featured Artists (FA). There are two FA's showing their artwork each month during the year. Our 2-D and 3-D artist have a designated location in the gallery. No matter the category, each artist that shows in our gallery must apply on line and is juried in by our MM's. Applications are on our website: www.HarbourViewGallery.com. Remember, you must be local (within 50 miles of the gallery).
The gallery is open from 11:00 to 8:00 each day, except in the summer months, we are closed on Mondays. You can shop more of my jewelry there, as I have two large cases of fabricated jewelry and two smaller cases with hand made chain mail earrings, neck chains and bracelets. I am happy to meet new customers, answer questions, and make new friends!
We are located in Cape Coral, at Cape Harbour Marina and community, the heart of SW, FL. With three restaurants and several shops on the plaza, it truly is a destination for many to visit. Our gallery's back door opens up to a brilliant site where you can enjoy seeing the water with slips for very large boats that some people live on, as well as local resident's boats.
On the first Tuesday of each month, we have our Featured Artist reception to celebrate and showcase their artwork for that month. We pour wine and have snacks for all to enjoy. Also, each Tuesday night on the Plaza, there is a large band playing near the Tiki Hut Bar. The music is really good! Young and old are dancing on the plaza while enjoying new and old friendships.
On 9/28/22 in Southwest Florida, we experienced Hurricane Ian. It hit dead center in our town. We at Cape Harbour experienced quite a lot of damage to our restaurants and stores. Six months after, all was remediated and rebuilt. Mostly, our gallery members are thankful to be back open again and in full swing! Yea!
